At LEED, we don't just talk about sustainability. We want to take action. We believe we have a responsibility to create a sustainable future by embracing the circular economy.
This means transitioning from a linear "take-make-dispose" mindset to a circular "reuse, reduce, recycle" economy. A circular economy can enable us to still meet customer needs while reducing the materials we extract and use. In a world where only 7.2% of the global economy is circular, we want to be part of the change.
Steel is essential to the circular economy because it is a "permanent" material that can be reused, recovered and recycled. That is why we are starting to implement this approach throughout our production process. We are using more and more recycled materials, optimizing our solutions to use less steel, and passing on our production waste to our recycling partner.
At LEED, we don't just make steel solutions; we commit to circularity by taking our first steps and getting better and better. This is our promise to a sustainable future.
